EBRD slams Azerbaijan's authorities
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has issued a report on transition countries, sharply slamming the sphere of energy in Azerbaijan, Turan reported.
The report says no advance and competitive development have been observed in any of the energy sphere branches in Azerbaijan.
The authorities have not implemented any projects to ensure competition in the sphere of energy.
The report also puts that the efficiency and management quality in state administrations is too low, even lower than those of the countries with transition economy. Besides, EBRD report highlights corruption elements in the country.
