Armenian chess players at Rijeka Championships
European Individual Men's & Women's Championships are continuing in Croatian Rijeka where Armenian chess players take part. Our chess players registered 4 victories after the 4th round. Samvel Ter-Sahakyan defeated Kobalia, Davit Petrosyan defeated Bartel, Artashes Minasyan – Zaslavsky, Vahe Baghdasaryan – Zivkovic.
Regretfully, our chess players don’t have leading positions. The highest results in men’s championship scored Robert Hovhannisyan, Gabriel Sargsyan, Hrant Melqumyan, Tigran L. Sargsyan and Samvel Ter-Sahakyan.
In women’s championship Lilit Galoyan defeated her rival and lacks half points to reach Monica Sochkoy.
