Proceeds from Ian Gillan’s charitable concerts make 18mln 327 thousand AMD
Proceeds from Ian Gillan’s charitable concerts with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia made 18mln 327 thousand AMD.
Concerts, organized by Mediamax and Do Something within the framework of Rock Aid Armenia/Armenia Grateful 2 Rock project, took place on March 26 and 27 in “Aram Khachatryan” concert hall.
Mediamax informs it will transfer the entire sum to the fund for constructing the building for music school N6 in Gyumri, hosted in temporary shelters.
The proceeds became possible due to sponsorship of “VivaCell-MTS” mobile operator, which took upon itself all expenses to organize the concert, as well as due to partnership with bmi Airline.
Within the framework of Rock Aid Armenia/Armenia Grateful 2 Rock project, a number of new actions will be carried out in 2010 and 2011, to collect means for Gyumri music school.
