IMF gave a green light to Armenia for implementation of all programs
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has approved the report of the Armenian government, PM Tigran Sargsyan told a press conference today. Thus, it “gave a green light to continuation of our program for us to get the financial support as scheduled.”
“This year it goes about $150 mln. Armenia will be provided by the IMF, besides, this gives a green light for the implementation of all our international projects,” PM said.
“Currently we have a Stabilization Fund to be directed to the solution of economic and social problems if any negative, unpredictable consequences of crisis arise. This is to say, our financial and macroeconomic stability did not suffer in 2009,” T. Sargsyan said.
