Secretary General of International Telecommunication Union to visit Armenia
Secretary General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Hamadoun Touré is due to pay an official visit to Armenia April 6-7. On the first day of the visit H. Touré will meet with the Armenian Transport and Communication Minister Manuk Vardanyan, will visit the Genocide Museum and Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) State University.
On April 7 Hamadoun Touré will meet with the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, press secretary of the Armenian Transport and Communication Minister Susanna Tonoyan told Panorama.am.
A round table will be organized with the participation of the secretary and representatives of the communication, telecommunication, IT spheres. The visit of the guest will be summed up with the meeting with reporters.

The ITU's mission is to enable the growth and sustained development of telecommunications and information networks, and to facilitate universal access to the emerging information society and global economy.
Armenia is ITU member since 1992.
