Swine flu pandemic alert in Azerbaijan: new vaccines delivered
Another part of the vaccines against A/H1N1 (Swine flu) has been brought to Azerbaijan, 1News.az reported. Chief of the sanitary-epidemiological sector of the Health Ministry Victor Gasimov said vaccines sent by the World Health Organization (WHO) have been brought to the country.
172 thousand people will be vaccinated. Gasimov said that vaccines would be distributed soon.
Note that as the swine flu pandemic broke worldwide, Azerbaijan was among the first to announce the pandemic declined in the country at a time when people with the virus syptoms were dying in country’s hospitals.
