With the technologies invested in Matenadaran by Aviainfotel CJSC, a virtual library has been created with over 430 compositions from “Sasna Tsrer” epic in the Armenian and Russian languages to the poems of our contemporaries Paruyr Sevak and Silva Kaputikyan.

The virtual library was created at the initiative of Yerevan City Hall, as part of cooperation with Aviainfotel CJSC and is foreseen for spreading in Yerevan schools.

With rich collection and unique search opportunities, the virtual library may be useful to anyone interested in Armenian literature.

“The working out of Matenadaran fund leads to the necessity to solve various problems and this is the first but not the last application of the technologies Aviainfotel CJSC created taking into consideration the variety of problems over working out Matenadaran fund. This virtual library is our first joint preparatory step with Matenadaran on our way to creating a Grabar dictionary. Technology helps to find examples of word application, etc. and we are expecting views of the specialists using the library to determine further ways of developing the system,” Aviainfotel CJSC chief engineer Samvel Muradyan said.
