Exhibition evidences the dynamic development of business ties between two countries: Turkmen Deputy PM
As part of the second sitting of Armenia-Turkmenistan intergovernmental committee on economic cooperation, exhibition-fair kicked off in Yerevan today with participation of Armenia’s PM Tigran Sargsyan and and Turkmenistan’s Deputy PM Khidyr Saparaliyev. In his opening address Tigran Sargsyan said the exhibition provides wide opportunity for the Armenian consumers to get acquainted with Turkmenistan’s well-known brands.
“Turkmenistan’s economy has been developing rapidly recently, particularly the sphere of light industry. Here we have mutual interests,” PM said. According to him, there is a great potential for the development of the economic sphere.
In turn, Turkemnistan’s Deputy PM said their economy registered growth due to the use of new technologies. Today Turkmenistan is famous not only for its carpets and energy resources but its rich history and culture as well.
“This exhibition evidences the dynamic development of business ties between the two countries,” Khidyr Saparaliyev said.
According to the agreement reached, the third intergovernmental sitting is scheduled in Ashkhabad in 2011.
