Erdogan’s envoy gives guarantees to Aliyev in Azerbaijani
Turkish Deputy FM Feridun Sinirlioglu conveyed yesterday Turkey’s PM Tayip Erdogan’s special message to Azerbaijan’s President during his meeting with Ilham Aliyev.
It’s worth mentioning that Sinirlioglu was sent to Baku as Erdogan’s special envoy. Turkish Hurriyet reported that the message to Aliyev stated Ankara is faithful to its disposition towards the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh. The message reads:
“We want to normalize ties with Armenia. But we’re going to take into consideration your interests as well. By normalization we mean resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. We are faithful to our words. Don’t be alarmed.”
It’s interesting to mention that the very last part of the message – “We are faithful to our words. Don’t be alarmed” - Turkish envoy expressed in Azerbaijani personally to Aliyev.
