Serzh Sargsyan thinks positive tendency of economic growth will continue
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan thinks the positive tendency of the economic growth will continue in the country. President said at the 11th sitting of the Atomic Energy Safety Council (AESC) that the world financial-economic crisis has had a negative impact on the economic growth of many countries worldwide, including Armenia.
The Armenian President recorded that the scales of electric power production and the natural gas consumption have fallen due to the crisis. Though, this year stability and tendency of economic growth can be observed.
President Sargsyan said at the first quarter of this year 5.5 GDP growth has been recorded, as compared to the same period last year. “I think, the positive tendency will continue,” Serzh Sargsyan highlighted.
