Turkish national security council to discuss international recognition of Armenian Genocide
After the National Security Council of Turkey hearing a statement was released that in-house and foreign issues have been discussed at the meeting. CNNTurk press service reported the meeting was chaired by President Abdulah Gul and lasted about 6 hours.
According to the official release the international recognition of Armenian Genocide has been also discussed at the meeting. It was stated assessment to common history of Armenian and Turkish people shouldn’t be ruled by any partial approach.
