Tehran International Book Fair underway: number of interested in the Armenian pavilion unprecedented
Tehran International Book Fair got underway May 5 and is due by May 15. Over 2000 Iranian and around 1700 foreign publishers participate in the fair. The number of visitors has surpassed 4 million, information department of Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani attended the official opening ceremony of the 23rd Tehran International Book Fair May 5.
The number of visitors and those interested in the Armenian pavilion, established at the initiative of the Armenian Embassy in Iran and in association with the Armenian Culture Ministry, proves unprecedented.
Particularly great is the interest in the spheres of Armenian tourism and higher education. Foreign visitors are mostly show interest in the Armenian Genocide.
