Iran to recognize diplomas of 3 Armenian state universities
Iran’s Education and Science Ministry is ready to recognize the diplomas of 3 Armenian state universities, Armenian Education and Science Minister Armen Ashotyan told reporters Wednesday. The Armenian Minister, who has just returned from Iran, said Iran will recognize the diplomas of Yerevan State Medical University after M. Heratsi, Yerevan State University and State Engineering University of Armenia.
Months ago Iran’s Education and Science Ministry announced it doesn’t recognize the diplomas of the Armenian universities.
Ashotyan said, during his visit to Iran May 21-26, an agreement was reached on recognition of the Armenian diplomas. The issue should be solved by September to get into practice.
According to the Minister, Iranian officials will arrive in Armenia to sign the document.
Ashotyan said, during the visit another agreement was reached with the Iranian side on establishing a Center of Armenian Studies in Iran.
