“The sphere of information technologies is a dynamically developing sphere and every year our citizens can feel quality increase, availability of the services and fall of prices,” Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan said at the opening ceremony of the 3rd annual “DigiTec Business-2010” Forum.

According to him, the steps taken by the government should be directed to this. "Today our focus is on a big list of inquiries raised by the specialists of the sphere, and the public council acting under the Prime Minister is constantly discussing the issues,” he said.

Remind that the forum on “Dialogue between Business and Technologies” is held under the high auspices of the Armenian PM.

The Forum, underway June 9-10, aims at promoting the investment of the information and telecommunication technologies (ITT) in the sphere of economy and others, as well as presenting ITT products and services called to modernization of the economy and solution of current business problems.

The event includes DigiTec Business exhibition, seminars, round tables, consultations. This year 35 companies are participating in the forum.

USAID Director, Dr Jatinder Chima also attended the opening ceremony.
