Chief accountatnt of 'Armincassation' CJSC arrested over fraud
Special investigation services (SIS) arrested chief accountatnt of “Armincassation” CJSC Anahit Gevorgyan. She is charged with a fraud and illegal appropriation of 1million AMD. Assistant accountant and accountant have also been arrested.
According to SIS, investigation showed that Anahit Grigoryan has also been working as a chief accountant in “Arusyak” cooperative.
During the years of 2003-2009, she transferred a sum of about 1 mln. AMD of “Armincassation” CJSC to “Arusyak” cooperative acc. No 121130013067 and 247121313065 through “Ardshininvestbank” CJSC as if for payments, then cashed the money in and appropriated it.
To conceal the theft, she formalized the transferred money as “VAT payments” and finalized through different papers as spent sums.
She is charged in accordance with Part 3, Article 179 and Part 1, Article 314 of the RA Criminal Code.
