Summer Theatre School closing, participants to get diplomas
The festive closing ceremony of the 4th annual International Summer Theatre School organized by the Russian Theatre Union is due June 26, 2010. The school got underway a month ago.
This year the committee received 6,000 applications out of which 85 young actors and actresses were chosen from Armenia, Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Russia, France and other countries.
The participants took classes in artistic expression, vocals, history of Russian and foreign theatres, etc. The young actors and actresses had master classes with Armen Jigarkhanyan, Andrey Konchalovsky, Aleksandr Kalyagin and other outstanding theatre figures.
The President of the Russian Theatre Union Aleksandr Kalyagin will hand diplomas to the participants at the closing ceremony.
