Craig R. Barrett satisfied with professionalism of Armenian IT specialists
Craig R. Barrett, Chairman of the Board of Intel Corporation, is satisfied with the level of professionalism of the Armenian IT specialists. Barrett got informed about Armenia and the companies of Armenia still 20 years ago. He is also familiar with Synopsis Armenia activity.
“We can express no discontent over the skills and professionalism of the Armenian IT specialists,” Barrett told reporters in Yerevan today. He expressed conviction that there is a big potential for the improvement of IT sphere.
Barrett said he had discussed with Armenia’s authorities issues related to the training of the elementary school teachers, and private teaching in computer courses. He voiced hope that certain steps will be taken in this direction.
He noted that during the meetings both the President and the Prime Minister and Economy Minister spoke the same language: IT is a priority in Armenia.
