Armenian Prime Minister receives Craig Barrett
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan today received the former President of the Board of Directors of the Intel Corporation, Craig Barrett, government’s information department reported.
Greeting the guest, PM congratulated Craig Barrett for receiving the Armenian President’s Global IT Award.
The interlocutors discussed the perspectives of implementation of joint programs. In particular, reference was made to the cooperation launched in the frames of the “World Ahead” program. The program envisages providing computers to schools and organizing training programs for teachers.
Tigran Sargsyan and the former President of the Board of Directors of the Intel Corporation emphasized the importance of establishment of a scientific research center jointly with the Intel Corporation.
The parties exchanged views on the e-society doctrine approved by the Armenian Government.
