Armenian PM receives Vladimir Yakunin
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received today delegation headed by the President of the “Russian Railways” company Vladimir Yakunin.
At the meeting present were Russian Ambassador to Armenia Vyacheslav Kovalenko and Director General of the “South Caucasian Railways” company Shevket Shaydulin, government's information department reported.
Highly praising bilateral cooperation, the Prime Minister pointed out that within the framework of the visit an opportunity will be given to discuss the process of implementation of joint programs and clarify the further actions.
President of the “Russian Railways” company referred to the details of the visit to the Yerevan railway station earlier today. He informed that as a result of the reconstruction now the station meets the international standards. It was pointed out that the “South Caucasian Railway” company signifies the implementation of the works directed to upgrading of infrastructures.
During the meeting the interlocutors also referred to the issues on bilateral cooperation. Particularly, the parties discussed the technical assistance of the “Russian Railways” company to the construction of “North-South” road corridor as well as the process of implementation of separate provisions of the concession agreement signed between the Armenian Government and “Russian Railways” company.
