FIDEGrandPrix: Elina Danielyan and Lilit Mkrtchyan shared points
In the 7th round of FIDE Grand Prix which currently takes place in Jermuk, Armenia, Armenian chess players Elina Danielyan and Lilit Mkrtchyan appeared to be rivals. Armenian chess players recorded a draw which, in fact, has been beneficial for Nana Dzagidze. Making Maya Chiburdanidze defeated, she scored 6,5 and left Lilit Mkrtchyan behind by 1,5 points. Tatiana Kosintseva defeated Shen Yang and scored equal points with Lilit Mkrtchyan.
Marha Fierro scored her first points, since a day off has been useful for her. She defeated Xu Yuhua but still is well placed in the final horizontals.
Other sets – Pia Kramling-Antuaneta Stefanova and Baira Kovanova-Hou Yifang, ended in draw.
