Clinton and Aliyev have press briefing
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton started her Baku meetings with a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. “The Nagorno Karabakh problem is a serious issue for us as well as for regional security. We seek to achieve problem resolution as soon as possible, our people suffers,” Aliyev said at a press briefing following his meeting with Clinton at his cottage,
Reuters reported.
According to the source, in return, Clinton noted that the Nagorno Karabakh problem and its resolution have “much significance for them.”
“During the press briefing Clinton said that the U.S. is also concerned about the Nagorno Karabakh problem, but did not go into the details,” AP reported.
