Ombudsman’s report on freedom of speech ready
Armenian Ombudsman’s report on “The right of freedom of speech in the Republic of Armenia” is ready and will be published Wednesday, according to the Ombudsman’s press office.
The report is the complex study of the freedom of speech in the Republic of Armenia, covering the legal acts regulating the relations in the sphere of the freedom of the speech, focusing special attention to the gaps and contradictions that exist in the legislation, the source said.
The report also refers to the rights of the reporters, the activity of mass media, as well as the disputable provisions of the new RA law “About TV and Radio”.
