Women have better memories than men?
British scientists have found that women have better memories than men, The Daily Mail informs.
They will never forget an anniversary. And they have an uncanny knack of being able to remind their husbands or boyfriends about that argument three months ago.
They say there is compelling evidence that the female brain is much more capable of recalling certain information than the male's, regardless of age.
Scientists from Cambridge University carried out a series of memory tests on 4,500 adults aged 49 to 90 and found that women consistently outperformed men.
They say the same is true for younger generations with results suggesting that girls of primary school age have better memories than boys.
The researchers don't yet know why women seem to be better at recalling information but it could be to do with their hormones, or how their brain functions.
