Turkish-Armenian border to open temporarily: Turkey's MFA
NATO’s Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Center (EADRCC) disaster-relief annual military exercise to be held in Armenia September 11-17 this year, may also provide an opportunity for a trial run at opening the long-closed border between Turkey and Armenia. 20 countries, including Turkey, are expected to participate in the drills.
The Spokesman for the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Burak Ozugergin, said Friday the opening of the Turkish-Armenian border temporarily for passage of equipment to be used in a NATO military exercise in Armenia was being evaluated discreetly, Cumhurriyet reported.
