Panturkist extreme groupings instigate ethnic clashes in N Iran
Panturkist extreme groupings are inciting new provocations to instigate ethnic clashes among the Turkish speaking Azeris of Iran, akharinnews.com reported.
According to information, Panturkist extreme groupings are conducting anti-Iranian propaganda among the Turkish speaking Azeris of Iran in the provinces of Eastern Azerbaijan, Western Azerbaijan, Ardebil and Zenjan, aiming at substituting the Persian names of residences, streets and cultural institutions of the abovementioned provinces for Turkish ones.
The abovementioned extreme grouping issued lately a book titled “Azerbaijan’s historical heritage” and spread it in the Turkish speaking provinces of Iran, aiming at causing inner tension and instability.
