U.S. State Secretariat: Hague Court decision not a precedent for other states:
Hague Court decision was about Kosovo and it doesn’t concern any other regions or countries, and isn’t a precedent for other regions or countries, Assistant U.S. State Secretary Philip Gordon declared.
He said U.S. hailed International Court’s decision and stated that was consistent with U.S. well known disposition – Kosovo’s independence corresponded to the norms of international laws.
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton hailed court’s decision soon after it was adopted and called on other countries states to support Kosovo’s status.
