Over 60 houses demolished in Azerbaijan, people have not received compensation
A group of residents of Azerbaijan’s Nardaran district staged a fifth action to protest against the violation of their rights during construction of the Bilga-Sumgait ring road, Turan reported.
Over 60 houses in the district were fully or partially demolished because of the new road, but people have not yet received compensation.
Rasim Alizada, chairman of the public union Protection of Human Rights and Freedom, told Turan that people who complain about the violation of their rights, are not in the list of those to receive compensation.
“Relatives of the heads of executive and municipal administrations in the district are included in the list instead of them.
