The Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) has detained a batch of 1200 kg of cocaine, which was transported from Latin America via Ukraine to Europe.
SBU's press secretary Maryna Ostapenko said this at a briefing on Thursday.
"As a result of raids conducted by the SBU, the drugs supply chain has been eliminated, and 1,200 kilograms of cocaine seized," Ostapenko said.
She added that the drugs were transported by sea and were detained in the port of Odesa. Around 12 million doses of drugs could be made of this amount of cocaine with a total cost of $180 million.
