Froch: what Abraham will do when his punches fail...
Super middleweight contender Carl Froch expects big things when he takes on Arthur Abraham October 2 in Monaco. The fight will be a do or die effort for Froch to enter the semifinals of Showtime’s Super Six tournament. Froch has two points from his win over Andre Dirrelland needs another win to stay in. Abraham has three points from the knock-out of Jermain Taylor. Froch says he can take the best shots Abraham throws from his arsenal. He wonders what Abraham will do when his punches fail.
“It’s going to be probably the best fight this year and I’ll be part of it,” Froch said. “There is going to be a lot of polls, arguments, debates about who will come out as top dog between me and Arthur. His fans will claim their man will knock me out – but once he’s sent his best shots in and I’m still there, you’ll see a different look on his face. What else can he do when that fails to seal the deal?”, Froch was quoted as saying by boxingscene.com.
