Azerbaijani citizens charged with kidnapping in Russia
Moscow Prosecutor's Office has filed a criminal case against two Azerbaijani and a Ukrainian citizen, over kidnapping a Russian businessman in Moscow and demanding a huge ransom for his release, reports Russian news agency Interfax.
On July 12 the three allegedly kidnapped the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the local Imperia Avto LLC, took him to a village Molokovo and kept him there for 22 days.
Further the source mentions that they demanded $7 mln. from the relatives of the businessman for his release. The case has been launched in accordance with Articles 126.2, 163.3 of the Russian Criminal Code.
