Iran’s MFA speaker: Caspian Sea legal status is a very delicate and sensitive issue
Iran’s Foreign Ministry speaker Ramin Mehmanparast told the reporters that the legal status of Caspian Sea is a very delicate, important and sensitive question and that Caspian countries hold negotiations over the issue, Iranian “MEHR” news agency reported.
The Iranian diplomat said Caspian Sea legal status has been by 70% agreed by 5 Caspian countries and that the rest is still being negotiated. Those negotiations held by Presidents and Foreign Ministers may have positive impact.
It’s worth reminding that Iran’s Minister of Defense Ahmad Vahidi declared Iran’s border of Caspian Sea are perfectly protected.
