Levon Aronian omits Jermuk preparations
On September 1st twice Olympic Champion Armenian national team started its final preparations in Jermuk before the 39th World Olympiad to be held in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia. Members of the team GMs Vladimir Akopian, Gabriel Sargissian, Arman Pashikian, Avetik Grigoryan, leaded by the senior coach of the team GM Arshak Petrosian, will have preparations for two weeks in Jermuk. Only the leader of the team GM Levon Aronian is absent because these days he is taking part in the most important stage of the Grand Slam tournaments in Shanghai, China.
Our strongest women chess players are also having preparations in Jermuk, leaded by the senior coach of Armenian women's national team GM Ashot Anastasian. We remind that the team is going to arrive in Khanty-Mansiysk with the following composition: WGMs Elina Danielian, Lilit Mkrtchian, Lilit Galojan, Nelly Aginian, WFM Anahit Kharatyan.
