Over 100 pedophiles arrested in Poland
Polish Police arrested 102 people suspected of distribution, ownership and downloading pedophile content from the Internet, AFP reported.
According to the source, Police entered 114 places on September 7-8: Internet cafes, companies and apartments. During this procedure Police secured 133 computers, laptops, external discs, 3500 CDs, DVDs and routers. The hardware will be used for further legal steps.
The whole case started two years ago, when Polish Police was informed that nude photos of little girl living in Podkarpacie region are distributed through one of Internet websites. The IP addresses of computers these photos were downloaded on were found. Additionally, Police found out that people downloading these photographs were also interested in other pedophile content. According to Polish law, the arrested are facing up to 8 years in jail.
