Talks on gas price with Russia not started yet: Minister
It’s early to hold talks on the increase in price of the Russian gas supplied to Armenia, Armenian Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan told reporters today. According to him, Armenia starts talks with Gazprom at the yearend every year, however, they haven’t started this year yet.
“The talks have not started since the Russian side has not announced the new prices yet. As soon as there are any statements made, the talks will resume and we will try to keep the price as low as possible. It’s early for me to make any real statements at the moment. Everything will come to be known as the talks are over,” the Minister said.
