Renco Holding puts into operation another construction - Piazza Grande in Yerevan
The renowned Italian Renco Holding put into operation another construction today in Yerevan.
The solemn opening ceremony of the Piazza Grande multifunctional complex took place in 20 Vazgen Sargsyan.
The construction of the Piazza Grande complex started two and a half years ago. The Renco Holding purchased the building with an area of 42,000 sq/m from the Defense Ministry. Over USD 50m was invested into the construction.
Director General of Renco Holding Giovanni Rubini speaking about the construction said: “Working in Armenian market we noticed that all our investments are justified. This new complex also testifies to it. The construction was done with modern and quality technology.”
The Piazza Grande multi-functional complex consists of three parts. - 1 and zero floors are trade territories with a separate entrance, from first to third floors are office territories, and from fourth to tenth floors are apartments.
Yerevan Mayor Gagik Beglaryan was also present at the solemn opening ceremony. Highly assessing the work done the Mayor said that our expectations are justified, and a quality work has been done.
According to Beglaryan, “any similar construction put into operation in Yerevan stimulates competition between construction companies.”
Ruben Hasratyan, the architect of Piazza Grande also expressed satisfaction with the work. Asked how much the complex harmonizes with Yerevan architecture Hasratyan said: “time will show it.”
Renco Holding started its activities in Armenia in 2001. The Holding has built the Congress Hotel, Embassy of Italy, underground parking lot in Liberty Square in Yerevan.
