Armenia's economy recovering: IMF
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received today the delegation headed by Ratna Sahay, deputy director of the International Monetary Fund’s Middle East and Central Asia Department. Permanent Representative of IMF to Armenia Guillermo Tolosa was present at the meeting as well, press service of the RA government informed.
The sides discussed details of the program implemented currently by the IMF. Ratna Sahay highly assessed the performance indicator of the program implemented in Armenia as compared with the other countries and noted with satisfaction that though slowly, the economy of Armenia is recovering.
Sahay hailed the steps undertaken by the RA Central Bank in the direction of maintenance of stability in the financial market.
