Vladimir Spivakov delighted with Armenian musicians performing in CIS Youth Symphony Orchestra
President Serzh Sargsyan received today the world-known conductor, violinist Vladimir Spivakov, who is in Armenia within the framework of a concert program of the CIS Youth Symphony Orchestra. Greeting the renowned conductor, President Sargsyan said: “I’m very glad that your visits turn to great events in the cultural life of our country. This is evidenced by full concert halls and the warmth you are welcomed with. I hope you are sure that Armenians love you very much and treat you as a friend of Armenia.”
Vladimir Spivakov and Serzh Sargsyan talked about the program of the CIS Youth Orchestra and the idea for which the orchestra was founded three years ago. The latter aimed to bring together representatives of different nationalities, who are also carriers of different cultures. As the renowned conductor said, music can unify what the human tongue is unable to.
Vladimir Spivakov spoke with delight about the Armenian musicians performing in the orchestra, highlighting that there are many gifted young people in Armenia, and it’s extremely important to identify them and create opportunities for the manifestation of their talent.
