Armenian Pavilion in Shanghai Expo 2010 granted Grand Prix
The Armenian Pavilion in Shanghai Expo 2010 was a great success, member of the Armenian organizing committee in Shanghai Expo 2010, President of the Beeline company Hayk Khanjyan told a news conference. As of September 20, 2 million out of over 54 million people, who have visited the Expo, have been to the Armenian pavilion. It is a high index since the Armenian Pavilion has an area of only 350 sq/m, Hayk Khanjyan said.
According to Khanjyan, Shanghai Expo organizers assessed Armenian Pavilion’s theme as the best one which coincides with Shanghai Expo’s theme – “Better City, Better Life.”
The “Expo-Shanghai Online Bureau” granted the Grand Prix to the Shanghai Expo Armenian Pavilion for excellent organization and presentation. Besides, over a month ago, the Armenian virtual pavilion also won a silver medal for best technological solutions and best implementation.
"The City of the World" was Armenian Pavilion’s most interesting project. It is an example of unification of peoples and nations in the city of the future, H. Khanjyan said.
