Burjanadze: Georgian economic development index lags behind that of Azerbaijan and Armenia
Nino Burjanadze, Ex-Speaker of Georgian parliament, leader of the party Democratic Movement – United Georgia, at a press conference, strongly criticized President Mikheil Saakashvili accusing him of public falsehood at the United Nations General Assembly, Vzglyad newspaper reported.
Particularly, Burjanadze said that Saakashvili’s statements on poverty reduction in Georgia contradict to WB report which says that nearly 60 percent Georgian population lives in poverty.
According to Burjanadze, Georgian foreign capital investment and economic development indices lag behind those of neighboring Azerbaijan and Armenia.
She described as cynical Saakashvili’s statements that brave leaders achieve everything they want.
