Georgian refugees demand to close Upper Lars
Georgian refugees demand to close Upper Lars check point for Armenians, explaining that Armenian didn’t support the UN Georgia resolution which envisaged that Georgian refugees should return to their homes, the leader of the non-party movement Mamuka Gvadzabia told Akhali Taoba paper, according to Georgia Online.
Refugees addressed Gvadzabia, demanding to take adequate actions, particularly close Upper Lars, which is used to transfer goods from Russia to Armenia.
Gvadzabia said he is intent to hold consultations with the country’s leadership over the issue.
