Ukraine’s national team granted Olympic Champion’s title: Armenia – the seventh
World Chess Olympiad finished in Khanty-Mansiysk. Armenian men team ended in draw the very final eleventh round with French team. Gabriel Sargsyan and Arman Pashikyan ended in draw with Vladislav Tkachiev and Roman Edward. Levon Aronyan defeated Maxime Vachier-Legrave but Vladimir Hakobyan lost his game with Lauren Fressinet.
Having scored only 16 out of 22, our national team got 7th horizontal. Ukrainian team has been awarded champion’s title. Russia 1 became vice champion team and the Israeli got third place. Hungary’s national team is the fourth, China the fifth and Russia 2 the sixth.
