Grigol Vashadze: There is no Javakhk region on the map
“I don’t know what Javakhk is: there is no Javakhk region on the map,” Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze responded to an inquiry of one of the journalists as to had Georgia ratified the European convention on regional languages in time, perhaps Javakhk would not now be facing a number of issues on education and languages. “I don’t see what the question is about,” he continued.
Remind that Georgian FM Grigol Vashadze arrived in Armenia upon the invitation of his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian. He had a meeting with Edward Nalbandian today, then a joint press conference followed.
Vashadze said 103 Armenian schools were reconstructed on state means. According to him, Armenian schools were more on focus that the Georgian ones.
