Azerbaijani disabled people injured in Karabakh war intent to ask Armenia for asylum
Workers of ZGAN holding, owned by Azerbaijani Transport Minister Zia Mamedov’s son, Anar Mamedov, have destroyed the trade booths of Azeri disabled people injured in Karabakh war, aiming to possess the territories, Bizim Yol reported.
According to the source, the disabled Azerbaijanis visited the editor’s office of the paper to tell about the incident and the illegal activities of Anar Mamedov, a candidate to run at the upcoming parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan on November 7.
They said they are intent to apply to the European Court of Human Rights, as well as the US Embassy in Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijanis also said they will ask Armenia for asylum, though once they fought against this country.
The paper recalls that the abovementioned entrepreneurs have many times held rallies at ZGAN holding building demanding to return their trade points. Every time the police dispersed the protest actions violently.
