ECHR released final decision on Eynulla Fatullayev’s appeal
The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has released final decision on Eynulla Fatullayev’s appeal against Azerbaijan, official website of ECHR reported.
According to the 'Final' ECHR decision on Eynulla Fatullayev released on April 22 remains in force and that very decision was posted on the site again. The decision says that the state shall secure the applicant’s immediate release and pay EUR 28,000 in respect of pecuniary damage.
Note that Eynulla Fatullayev was arrested on April 20, 2007 and later he was sentenced to eight-and-a-half-year imprisonment for threat of terrorism, incitement to ethnic hostility and tax avoidance.
