“Tatev’s wings”: World’s longest ropeway hosts its first visitors
President Serzh Sargsyan and Supreme Patriarch Karekin II accompanied by 6 children from Tatev neighborhood are going to be the very first visitors of “Tatev’s wing” ropeway technical testing.
Bekor Papazyan, the executive director of National Competitiveness Foundation told earlier that about 700 guests are supposed to arrive. He ensured the ropeway is “100% safe structure.” The ropeway will be open to public from October 23.
Tatev’s ropeway is the longest in the world, and the National Competitiveness Foundation negotiations with Guinness Records to record the ropeway.
