“Pomegranate grain” festival to kick off
“Pomegranate grain” state junior theatre 10th festival kicks off today and will last till October 31, Hasmik Tonoyan, the assistant of Isahakyan library’s director told Panorama.am. She said the festival is dedicated to 135th anniversary of famous Armenian writer Avetiq Isahakyan.
The festival hosts this year 31 theatre groups from Iran, Nagorno-Karabakh, Djavakhq, Yerevan and other communities. During the festival 28 plays will be performed.
“The mission of the festival is to support the development of theatre art and its traditions, contribute to the creation of new groups,” Tonoyan said.
