Azerbaijani company to reconstruct gas pipeline to Armenia
Azerbaijani “Oil and Gas Contraction Trust” company won the Georgian tender declared by Millennium Challenge Georgia foundation to reconstruct and equip the Georgian part of “North-South” gas pipeline, Georgian and Azerbaijani media reported.
According to the tender demands the Azerbaijani company is responsible to provide $6 million worth pipes and equipments during 120 days. The Azerbaijani company won Swiss “Stemcor” and Georgian “New Energy” companies.
“North-south” gas pipeline was built in 1970 which provides gas from Russia to Armenia through Georgia.
