Armenia, Israel discuss perspectives on implementation of joint programs
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received today the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Armenia Shmuel Meyrom. Congratulating the Ambassador on appointment, the prime minister expressed conviction that with his activity the ambassador will contribute to the expansion and deepening of cooperation between the two countries, government’s information department reported.
During the meeting the interlocutors discussed perspectives on implementation of joint programs in the health, tourism, educational, scientific and cultural spheres. Speaking about the development of economic relations, the parties pointed out the necessity of organization business forums that will contribute to the establishment of close relations between the private sectors of the two countries.
Referring to the issue on working with diaspora, Tigran Sargsyan rated high the application of Israeli experience in working with diaspora institutions.
