Armenian, Iranian Police Chiefs meet in Tehran
Armenian Chief of the Police, Lieutenant-General Alik Sargsyan and Iranian Disciplinary forces (police) commander, Brigadier General Esmayil Ahmadi Moghadami discussed the deepening of relations between the Armenian, Iranian police offices, as well as issues on jointly combating drug-smuggling, terrorism and trafficking at a meeting in Tehran, polis.ir informs.
“Armenia and Iran have close political relations, common cultures and history. Iran’s police forces are ready to cooperate with their Armenian colleagues in different spheres,” Esmayil Ahmadi Moghadami said.
In turn, Armenia’s Chief Police said the Armenian and Iranian deep historical roots can make good grounds for bilateral cooperation.
