Orange and Nokia Siemens Networks presented public demo of mobile technologies of the 4th generation
Today Orange and Nokia Siemens Networks presented public demo of mobile technologies of the 4th generation towards the first anniversary of launch of Orange services. Within only two days, on the 4th and 5th of November, all visitors can see live demo of the latest 4G technologies in the Orange Flagship Store.
According to Orange press-centre, Bruno Duthoit, Orange Armenia CEO, said: “Today we have an exclusive opportunity to show the possibilities of 4G technologies to wide public, but also to make them touch and feel the future. With this live demo together with Nokia Siemens Networks we make another step forward to tangible the technologies of the future to public. It is the mission of Orange to be the supporter and the leader of innovation in Armenia.”
Jean-Marie Garcia, Orange Armenia Technical Director, said: “I am proud to confirm that France Telecom/Orange has the necessary technological expertise for LTE technologies and the public live demo we make today is a good example. ”

4G or LTE technology is the latest standard in the mobile network technology tree that produced the GSM/EDGE and UMTS/HSPA network technologies. 4G will change in the future the current conception of internet usage, in particular making possible the high-quality usage of multimedia services not only at home but also on the move, as well as cloud-computing.
